Security and customer consent

Every remote support engagement is governed by clear, customer-protective commitments. These are the rules we hold ourselves to on every session.

  • Remote access is initiated only with customer authorisation.
  • Customers remain informed during attended support sessions.
  • Customers may end an attended session at any time.
  • We do not ask customers to disclose banking passwords.
  • We do not ask customers to purchase gift cards.
  • We do not ask customers to conceal a support session from colleagues, banks or payment providers.
  • We do not request access outside the agreed business-support scope.
  • Permanent or unattended access requires a separate written managed-support agreement.
  • Customer files are not copied unless required for the agreed work and specifically authorised.
  • Access credentials must not be submitted through website forms.

What the Remote Access Consent Agreement records

Before any chargeable remote session begins, an authorised representative of your business completes the Remote Access Consent Agreement. It identifies your business, the authorised representative, the devices or systems in scope, the purpose of access, the support tool used, whether the session is attended or unattended, permitted and prohibited actions, data-handling terms, how to withdraw consent, and liability boundaries.
