N V VENTURE operates from India. Information supplied by clients or prospective clients in the United States, Canada or another country may be transferred to, accessed from or processed in India or another country where an approved service provider operates. Privacy laws and government-access rules may differ between countries.

N V VENTURE uses reasonable contractual, administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature and risk of the processing. Clients remain responsible for determining whether a Data Processing Addendum, confidentiality agreement or industry-specific agreement is required before providing access to regulated or highly sensitive information.

10. Client Information Accessed During Services

Permanent or unattended remote access requires separate written authorization and an appropriate ongoing-service agreement.

  • Access only systems reasonably necessary for the approved service.
  • Follow documented client instructions.
  • Avoid unrelated files and accounts.
  • Avoid copying information unless reasonably necessary and authorized.
  • Restrict access to personnel who require it.
  • Close attended access when the session ends.
  • Remove temporary service files when reasonably practicable.
  • Retain only necessary service, security and compliance records.

11. Sensitive and Regulated Information

Clients should not submit passwords, one-time authentication codes, payment-card PINs, complete payment-card details, online banking credentials, unnecessary identity documents, unencrypted medical information, government-classified information or unrelated sensitive information through ordinary website forms or unprotected email.

Unless expressly accepted under a separate written agreement, standard services are not designed for healthcare-regulated information, specialized payment-card environments, regulated banking systems, government-classified information, criminal-justice information, large biometric databases, children's personal information or highly sensitive identity-document repositories. Clients must disclose relevant regulatory requirements before access or service delivery begins.

12. Information Retention

Information may temporarily remain in protected backups until the applicable backup cycle expires.

  • General enquiries: up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction.
  • Proposals and service communications: up to three years after the business relationship ends.
  • Support records and session metadata: up to three years after service completion.
  • Remote Access Consent records: up to seven years after the applicable service.
  • Contracts, invoices and tax records: up to eight years or longer where required by law.
  • Marketing information: until consent is withdrawn or an objection is received.
  • Unsubscribe records: as long as reasonably necessary to prevent future unauthorized marketing.

13. Security Measures and Incidents

N V VENTURE uses reasonable administrative, organizational and technical safeguards, which may include access restrictions, strong passwords, multi-factor authentication, secure transmission, device-security controls, software updates, anti-malware protection, logging, monitoring, confidentiality obligations, data minimization, vendor review, retention procedures and incident-response procedures.

No remote-access system, internet transmission or electronic-storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If N V VENTURE becomes aware of a personal-information incident, it will take reasonable steps to investigate, contain, assess and document the incident, correct identified weaknesses, and inform affected clients, individuals or authorities where required.

14. Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on applicable law, a person may have the right to request information about processing, access or correction; request deletion where legally available; withdraw consent; object to or restrict certain processing; opt out of permitted marketing or certain advertising-related processing; and submit a complaint.

N V VENTURE may retain information necessary for contracts, security, fraud prevention, taxation, disputes, legal claims or other lawful purposes.

15. Marketing Communications

Recipients may unsubscribe by using the unsubscribe method included in the email or contacting support@nvventure.com. Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary service, security, billing, legal or transaction communications. N V VENTURE may retain an email address on a suppression list to prevent it from being unintentionally re-added to marketing campaigns.
