Acceptable Use Policy

1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy governs use of www.nvventure.com and remote IT, managed IT, digital marketing, communication, system, account, tool and deliverable services associated with N V VENTURE. This Policy applies to clients, authorized representatives, website users and any person using or requesting an N V VENTURE service.

It should be read with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Remote Access Consent Agreement, Data Handling and Security page, Payment and Billing Terms, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and the applicable proposal or service agreement.

2. Lawful Business Use

N V VENTURE services may be used only for legitimate and lawful business purposes. N V VENTURE may request information reasonably necessary to verify authority and the business purpose.

  • The client is authorized to request the service.
  • The client lawfully controls the applicable devices, accounts, systems and information.
  • The client has obtained required permissions.
  • The requested activity complies with applicable law.
  • The requested activity complies with relevant platform and provider rules.

3. Prohibited Unauthorized Access

Possession of a username, password or device does not automatically establish lawful authority. Clients and users must not:

  • Access a device, account, network or system without authorization.
  • Obtain another person's password or authentication code.
  • Circumvent access controls or ownership verification.
  • Gain administrator access without permission.
  • Maintain hidden or unauthorized persistent access.
  • Intercept communications without lawful authority.
  • Access information beyond the approved service scope.

4. Malware and Harmful Activity

N V VENTURE may assist with legitimate malware detection, removal, containment and recovery. Clients and users must not:

  • Create, install, distribute or operate malware, spyware, ransomware or botnets.
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks.
  • Damage, disable or interfere with a device, network or system.
  • Destroy or corrupt information.
  • Evade malware detection for an unlawful purpose.
  • Conceal malicious code.
  • Provide infrastructure for cybercrime.

5. Security Testing and Vulnerability Assessment

Security testing, scanning, penetration testing or vulnerability assessment may be performed only when the client owns or lawfully controls the target, the activity is expressly included in a written scope, testing boundaries are documented, appropriate precautions are in place, and the work is lawful and permitted by provider rules.

N V VENTURE may refuse any testing request where ownership, authority or scope cannot be adequately verified.

6. Fraud and Deception

  • Commit or facilitate fraud.
  • Impersonate another person or business without authority.
  • Create deceptive websites, messages or invoices.
  • Submit false payment information.
  • Misrepresent identity, ownership or authority.
  • Conduct phishing or obtain credentials through deception.
  • Mislead customers about a product, service, affiliation or result.
  • Conceal unlawful activity.

7. Banking and Payment Abuse

N V VENTURE will not ask a client to purchase gift cards or transfer cryptocurrency as a condition of receiving ordinary remote IT support. Clients and users must not:

  • Access another person's bank account without authority.
  • Obtain banking passwords or authentication codes.
  • Redirect payments through deception.
  • Create false payment instructions.
  • Commit payment-card fraud or money laundering.
  • Circumvent lawful payment restrictions.
  • Conduct fraudulent chargebacks.

8. Privacy and Confidentiality

Clients are responsible for obtaining required notices, permissions and consents before supplying information to N V VENTURE. Clients and users must not:

  • Collect personal information without lawful authority.
  • Access or disclose confidential information without permission.
  • Conduct unauthorized surveillance.
  • Record communications where recording is unlawful or undisclosed.
  • Obtain employee or customer information through deception.
  • Publish private information for harassment or retaliation.
  • Circumvent privacy settings or consent requirements.

9. Harassment and Harm

  • Harass, threaten, stalk, extort or blackmail another person.
  • Promote violence.
  • Publish another person's private information maliciously.
  • Coordinate unlawful discrimination.
  • Intimidate employees, contractors, clients or third parties.
  • Facilitate exploitation or abuse.

10. Intellectual Property

The client confirms that it owns or has permission to use all materials supplied to N V VENTURE. Clients and users must not:

  • Infringe copyrights or trademarks.
  • Misappropriate trade secrets.
  • Distribute pirated software.
  • Use unlicensed images, videos, fonts, code or content.
  • Copy a competitor's protected content unlawfully.
  • Remove ownership or licensing notices improperly.
  • Sell or distribute counterfeit products.

11. Software and Licensing

The client is responsible for acquiring and maintaining valid licenses for software and services. Clients and users must not:

  • Install pirated software.
  • Bypass software activation or license restrictions.
  • Use stolen product keys.
  • Disable legitimate license validation.
  • Distribute software unlawfully.
  • Violate open-source or commercial licenses.

12. Email and Electronic Marketing

N V VENTURE services must not be used to send unlawful, deceptive or abusive electronic communications. N V VENTURE may reject or suspend a campaign where the source, consent status or permitted use of a contact list cannot be reasonably established.

  • Use accurate sender information and truthful subject lines.
  • Identify the sending business appropriately.
  • Use contact information lawfully obtained or permitted for the campaign.
  • Provide required disclosures and an accessible unsubscribe method where required.
  • Process unsubscribe requests promptly and maintain suppression records.
  • Follow applicable consent and existing-business-relationship requirements.
  • Comply with the rules of the email provider and sending platform.
  • Do not use purchased, scraped or third-party lists where use would violate law, provider rules or recipient rights.

13. Advertising and Marketing Conduct

The client remains responsible for product and service claims, pricing, offers, required legal disclosures, industry-specific approvals and the accuracy of supplied information. Prohibited conduct includes:

  • False or misleading advertisements or unsupported guarantees.
  • Deceptive pricing or false scarcity.
  • Fake testimonials or endorsements.
  • Unlawful health or financial claims.
  • Discriminatory advertisements.
  • Fraudulent investment opportunities.
  • Counterfeit products.
  • Prohibited or restricted products in violation of law or platform policy.

14. Search-Engine and Website Practices

N V VENTURE does not guarantee search-engine rankings, traffic, leads, revenue or platform approval. Clients and users must not:

  • Distribute malware through a website.
  • Create deceptive landing pages.
  • Mislead users about ownership or affiliation.
  • Publish stolen content or conceal material terms.
  • Generate fake reviews or engagement.
  • Manipulate search systems through unlawful or clearly abusive practices.
  • Create pages for phishing or credential theft.
  • Redirect users to harmful or unrelated destinations without disclosure.

15. Social-Media Conduct

The client is responsible for approving content before publication where approval is included in the service process. Clients and users must not:

  • Create fake identities for deception.
  • Purchase or create fraudulent engagement.
  • Manipulate reviews.
  • Harass users or publish unlawful content.
  • Spread malware or phishing links.
  • Impersonate a competitor.
  • Violate a social-media platform's rules.

16. Prohibited Content

  • Content that is unlawful or facilitates fraud.
  • Content containing malware.
  • Content that infringes intellectual-property rights.
  • Content promoting unauthorized system access.
  • Content containing unlawful threats.
  • Content exploiting children or facilitating human trafficking.
  • Content promoting terrorism or violent criminal activity.
  • Non-consensual intimate material.
  • Content created for unlawful harassment or surveillance.
  • Content violating applicable sanctions or trade restrictions.

17. Platform and Provider Rules

Clients must comply with the terms and policies of relevant hosting providers, domain registrars, email providers, advertising platforms, search engines, social-media platforms, payment providers, cloud platforms, software providers and remote-support tools.

N V VENTURE is not responsible for account suspension, advertisement rejection, reduced reach or other action independently taken by a third-party platform.

18. Resource Abuse

  • Generate excessive automated traffic.
  • Interfere with service availability or attempt to overload infrastructure.
  • Circumvent usage limits.
  • Conduct unauthorized automated scraping.
  • Use resources for cryptocurrency mining without express authorization.
  • Use services in a manner that materially affects other users or systems.

19. Misrepresentation of N V VENTURE

Suspected impersonation should be reported to support@nvventure.com. Clients and users must not:

  • Claim to be an employee or authorized representative without permission.
  • Use the N V VENTURE name or branding deceptively.
  • Create false N V VENTURE invoices or support requests.
  • Misrepresent affiliation with N V VENTURE.
  • Use N V VENTURE communications to facilitate fraud.
  • Publish false statements that a third party has been approved or endorsed by N V VENTURE.

20. Client Cooperation

Failure to cooperate may result in suspension or termination. Clients are expected to:

  • Provide accurate information.
  • Respond to reasonable verification requests.
  • Disclose relevant legal or regulatory restrictions.
  • Obtain necessary third-party permissions.
  • Avoid obstructing legitimate security controls.
  • Follow reasonable security instructions.
  • Stop prohibited activity when requested.
  • Cooperate with reasonable investigations of suspected misuse.

21. Investigation of Suspected Misuse

N V VENTURE is not required to continue work while a material legal, security or authorization concern remains unresolved. N V VENTURE may:

  • Request additional information or proof of authority.
  • Pause the affected service or restrict access.
  • Preserve relevant records.
  • Review service and consent records.
  • Coordinate with an affected provider.
  • Require corrective action.
  • Refuse further work or terminate the engagement.

22. Suspension and Termination

Immediate suspension may occur where necessary to protect systems, information, clients, third parties or N V VENTURE, including where:

  • This Policy is violated.
  • Continued work creates a security risk.
  • The client lacks authority or provides false information.
  • The requested activity appears unlawful.
  • Payment is overdue.
  • The client abuses or threatens personnel.
  • A third-party provider requires suspension.
  • Continuing the service may expose N V VENTURE or others to legal or operational harm.

23. Preservation and Disclosure

N V VENTURE may preserve relevant records where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected misuse, protect systems or information, resolve a dispute, comply with a legal obligation, establish or defend a legal claim, or respond to a lawful request. Information may be disclosed where required by law, court order or lawful governmental request.

24. Client Responsibility

The client remains responsible for its use of N V VENTURE services, instructions supplied, actions of authorized representatives, content and information supplied, compliance with law and platform rules, required permissions and claims made about its products or services.

N V VENTURE's acceptance of an instruction does not transfer the client's legal responsibilities to N V VENTURE.

25. Reporting Misuse

Suspected misuse, fraud, impersonation, unauthorized access or prohibited activity should be reported to support@nvventure.com. Suggested subject: ACCEPTABLE USE REPORT - Business Name - Date.

  • The nature of the concern.
  • Relevant dates.
  • Relevant account, website or service information.
  • Supporting screenshots or documents where available.
  • The reporter's contact information.

26. Changes to This Policy

N V VENTURE may update this Policy to reflect changes in services, technology, platform requirements, security risks, business operations or applicable requirements. The updated version will display a revised Last Updated date.
